Fellowship Program
The Fellowship Program at Show Chwan Memorial Hospital and IRCAD Taiwan offers immersive, high-level surgical training in minimally invasive techniques. Combining clinical exposure with advanced education and research, the program is designed to develop future leaders in surgery.
About The Program
The Division of Surgery at Show Chwan Memorial Hospital, in collaboration with IRCAD Taiwan, offers an advanced fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) with a minimum duration of three months. Fellows may specialize in areas such as Hepatobiliary & Pancreas, Colorectal, Endocrine, Bariatric, or Upper Gastrointestinal surgery. Training includes exposure to open, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures across inpatient, outpatient, and operative settings. Most activities are conducted within the shared campus of Chang Bing Show Chwan Memorial Hospital and IRCAD-Taiwan.
Fellows have access to IRCAD-Taiwan’s comprehensive training resources—including lectures, simulations, cadaver and animal labs, and research in surgical innovation. Each participant is guided by experienced mentors and may apply for an extended one-year paid program based on qualifications and experience. Candidates from all countries are welcome to apply.
